Cleanup Day Fills Nine Trucks

Volunteers on the spring cleanup day filled nine truckloads with brush, bottles and winter's leavings from the roadsides on Saturday, and finished every assigned road by a little after noon.

The Booster Club served 140 hot dogs on the Green. Roads & Grounds reports finding three hubcaps, a snow shovel and a single good boot, all held at the transfer station.
