Apple Season Opens on the County Road

The orchards on the county road opened for picking on Saturday with the early varieties on the near trees. Macouns are expected by the end of the month and Baldwins in October.

Cider is at the farm stand by the gallon.

Fri., 9:28 a.m. Report of a loose horse, the county road. Owner notified; horse returned.
