Supper Season Begins Saturday

Baked beans and brown bread open the autumn calendar in the vestry

The Meeting House's autumn supper season opens Saturday at 5:30 p.m. with the traditional baked bean and brown bread supper in the vestry, and continues every Saturday evening through the Harvest Supper in November.

The kitchen committee asks for pies, as it does every year, and for volunteers to wash up, which it asks for somewhat more quietly.

A kindness

To the Editor: My car would not start outside the General Store last Tuesday, and before I had the hood up two men I did not know had it running again. They would not give their names, so I am giving my thanks here.
