Booster Club Finishes Bleachers Ahead of the Blue-Gray Game

Fresh coat of blue and gray, two Saturdays early

The home bleachers at the Regional High football field are blue and gray again, and they are dry, which is the part that mattered most to the Booster Club.

Eleven volunteers spent the last two Saturdays scraping, priming and painting all nine rows and the press box rail. Hardware & Feed donated the paint and lent two ladders, and the Diner sent over coffee and egg sandwiches both mornings.

“We had good weather and better people,” said Carol Ainsworth, president of the Booster Club. The bleachers get their first real use at the season-closing Blue-Gray Game on Saturday, Nov. 8.
