The Ledger Travels
Bundles go out with the freight every week
By Maggie Thorne
Readers sometimes ask how far the Ledger goes. The answer is farther than you might think. Each week a few bundles of the paper go out with the freight from the Travel Port, and the drivers leave them at the truck stops along the routes they run.
We do not know who reads them there, and we do not ask. A paper that only goes as far as the county line is not doing all of its job.
