A Quiet Thanksgiving on Main Street

Main Street was quiet on Thursday, as it should be. The Diner did a brisk trade in coffee and pie until one o'clock, the Marshals Service reports a peaceful day, and the Meeting House reports every basket delivered by Wednesday noon.

The spruce on the Green will be lit on Saturday, Dec. 6, at six o'clock.
